The purpose of this assignment is to use information technology to locate information about modes of transportation, prices, passport and visa requirements, vaccinations, and to provide a cultural "snapshot" of a specific country when planning international business travel.

The task:
1. Your business manager has asked you to make travel plans for him/her to travel to a foreign country, where he/she will be attending a meeting. The meeting is to be held in the country’s capital city.
2. Choose a country, then, using the suggested web sites, research basic economic facts, geographical facts, culture and customs and travel tips. Refer to the "Focus on Cuba" and "Focus on North and South Korea" travel advisory found in your textbook as an Exemplar (Both Pages). DO NOT CHOOSE the following countries: Cuba, USA, Canada, Mexico, Vietnam, Brazil, Belgium, Ireland, China, Russia, North/South Korea, Spain, Japan. Be sure to include a travel itinerary that communicates Departure time, Arrival Time, Return Flight times, Flight info/cost, hotel info/cost. Direct Flights are preferred, as well as a 5 star Hotel. A rental car may be required as well, cell phone cost additions. Currency exchange costs. ie $1000 Cdn. What does a morning coffee and snack cost? Average dinner?. The Duration of the trip is 5 days and must be taken within the next 2 weeks.
3. Prepare a “travel advisory” slide show (Microsoft Powerpoint/ OpenOffice Impress / Google Docs) for your manager and present your findings to the class.
